Sichuan-inspired spicy dumpling soup
All you need is one pot and 15 minutes to whip up this comforting Sichuan-inspired spicy dumpling soup. With ready-made dumplings and minimal prep, it’s an easy meal to serve any day of the week. Finish with an extra drizzle of chilli oil to finish with a kick!

- Chilli oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Tbsp crushed ginger
- 1.25L salt-reduced chicken or vegetable stock
- 3 Tbsp Pams Soy Sauce
- 350g pack Pams Frozen Dumplings
Method
- Drizzle some chilli oil into a saucepan and sauté the garlic and ginger over medium heat until fragrant.
- Pour the chicken stock and soy sauce into the saucepan and bring to a simmer.
- Drop the frozen dumplings into the soup and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the dumplings have cooked through.
- Divide the dumpling soup amongst four bowls, then drizzle with extra chilli oil as desired and serve.
Top tip: Garnish this deliciously warming soup with sesame seeds, sliced spring onion and coriander for the perfect finishing touch.
