Homemade pizza dough
Prepare your own pizza dough from scratch and enjoy a pizza making party with friends! Customise your own pizza toppings to your heart's content then bake until golden brown and delicious.

- ½ tsp dried yeast
- 2 cups high grade flour
- 1 tsp caster sugar
- Your favourite pizza toppings
Method
- In a large bowl, combine three quarter cups of lukewarm water, sugar and yeast. Whisk to combine, then leave to sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, a teaspoon of salt and two tablespoons of olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Turn out the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes or until soft and stretchy. Place the dough in a large oiled bowl, cover and leave in a warm place to proof for 1-1 ½ hours or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 230°C fan bake. Tip the proofed dough on a lightly floured surface and roll or press into a 20-30cm round, depending on your desired thickness.
- Place the dough on a lined baking tray, add your desired toppings and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
Tips:
- Top your pizza base with all your favourite toppings. A tomato based pizza sauce with grated mozzarella, pesto, olives, and fresh basil is our pick.
- Divide the dough into smaller portions for individual pizzas with all different toppings.
