Moroccan spiced lamb koftas
Cooked on the BBQ, these Moroccan spiced lamb koftas are great for feeding a family. Fresh herbs and pomegranate make these extra flavourful with a touch of freshness.

- 500g lamb mince
- ½ onion, grated
- 1 Tbsp Moroccan spice mix
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup fresh herbs, roughly chopped (we used mint and coriander)
- Hummus of your choice
- Pomegranate arils
Method
- Bring a BBQ or grill pan to medium-high heat and brush with oil.
- In a large bowl combine lamb mince, onion, Moroccan spice mix, garlic and half of the fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper and mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 12 and shape onto soaked skewers.
- Grill the koftas for 6-8 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve the grilled koftas with hummus and garnish with pomegranate and the remaining herbs.
Top tip: Grill flatbread or pita bread and serve with your koftas and seasonal salad leaves.
