Apple and berry crumble cups
This is a good one for all the apple lovers out there. It's a dessert you can make as a gift for your family one evening!

- 5 apples, diced
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1 lemon
- ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries or raspberries
- 1 ½ cups plain flour
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 150g cubed or grated butter
Method
- Preheat your oven to 180°C bake. Bring a medium saucepan to medium-high heat.
- Add apples, honey, zest and juice of the lemon and two tablespoons of water. Cook for 5-10 minutes or until the apple begins to soften. Remove from the heat and stir through the berries.
- Divide the mixture evenly amongst 6-8 greased ovenproof ramekins.
- In a large bowl combine flour, brown sugar, ginger and butter. Rub the ingredients together with your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs. Sprinkle the crumble over the fruit.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes or bubbling and golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
