Apple and Pear Crumble

- 1 Simply Dessert Apple and Pear Crumble Meal Kit (the kit includes 100g butter, 260g Annabel's Crumble Mix, 1 can pear quarters, 70g Annabel's Sugar 'n Spice mix, 3 apples, 300ml cream)
Method
- Preheat oven to 170°C conventional.
- Cut 100g of the butter and melt. Place Annabel’s Crumble Mix in a bowl, add the melted
butter and stir until evenly combined. Put to one side. - Place a sieve over a medium sized bowl and tip in the pears. Place the pears to one side. Add
Annabel’s Sugar ’n Spice Mix into the pear syrup, stirring to remove any lumps. - Peel apples (if desired), quarter and remove cores. Thinly slice quarters and add to the spiced
syrup, turning to coat so they don’t brown. - Cut each pear quarter into 3 or 4 slices and place in the base of a 2-litre capacity baking dish.
Tip over apples and the syrup and spread out evenly in the dish. Sprinkle the crumble evenly
over the top and press down firmly. - Bake until crumble is golden and apples are tender, 45-50 minutes.
- Whip the cream to soft peaks.
- Serve crumble with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream if desired.
