Quick chicken gyros
Easy 15-minute chicken gyros on soft garlic pita breads make for a simple but satisfying dinner solution. Serve with tzatziki and oven-baked fries sprinkled with paprika and crumbled feta for an unrivalled Greek-inspired meal.

- 500g chicken breast, diced
- ¼ cup natural Greek yoghurt
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- ½ lemon
- 8 garlic pita bread, warmed
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
Method
- Combine chicken in a large bowl with yoghurt, a tablespoon of olive oil, garlic, oregano, juice of the lemon and salt and pepper.
- Bring a large pan to medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
- Top the warmed pitas with the lettuce, followed by the chicken pieces.
- Serve and enjoy.
