
Overnight weetbix

You’ve probably heard of overnight oats, but have you heard of overnight weetbix? The trend taking over Tik Tok is definitely worth a try. It’s tasty, versatile and preparing it the night before saves you precious time in the morning.
Ingredients
2 weetbix
¼ cup milk + more as needed
1 tsp honey or maple syrup
½ cup yoghurt
Additional toppings options:
Sliced strawberries and strawberry jam
Chocolate chips, sliced almonds and chocolate sauce
Sliced banana and cinnamon
Method
Crush the weetbix into a bowl or container. Add the milk and honey or maple syrup and mix well to combine. Flatten the mixture down to make an even layer.
Add the first of your topping ingredients (strawberries, chocolate chips, sliced almonds or banana) and cover with a layer of yoghurt.
Finish with the remaining topping (strawberry jam, chocolate sauce or cinnamon), cover and leave to set in the fridge overnight.
Enjoy straight out of the fridge the next morning.
Tips:
Get creative with your toppings and use what you have on hand. Fruit, nuts, crushed biscuits, melted chocolate, the options are endless.
For a dairy-free milk option, soak your Weetbix in almond, oat, coconut, soy or cashew milk.
