Fish and vegetables - stage 3 baby food
The combination of mild tasting fish and vegetables in a creamy cheese sauce is very popular and gets your baby used to family foods. Remember to avoid this dish if there is a family history of allergies to seafood.

- Selection of vegetables
- 150g fresh fish like terakihi, gurnard or hoki
- Milk
Method
- Prepare and cook a selection of vegetables like broccoli, peas, zucchini and carrot, then finely chop.
- Put the fish in a small pan, cover with milk and simmer for 5 minutes, then discard the milk.
- Flake the fish (double checking there aren't any bones) and mix with the cooked vegetables and cheese sauce then blend or mash as required.
Suitable for freezing.
