Potato puree - stage 1 baby food
Agria is a floury variety of potato or you can use multipurpose varieties like Nadine for this purée. It’s so easy to cook these potatoes with your own (remembering not to salt them) and whiz them into a purée.

- 30g Butter
- 1 Leek
- 175g Potatoes
- 250ml Water
- 60g Frozen peas
Method
- Peel a floury potato and cut into even sized pieces.
- Steam or boil until soft - around 10 to 15 minutes and push cooked potatoes through a sieve (don't use a blender or you'll end up with sticky glue!).
- If the consistency is too sticky, dilute by adding a little cold, boiled water or expressed breastmilk.
Suitable for freezing
