Carrot puree - stage 1 baby food
This basic vegetable purée is sweet and can be combined with blander tasting purées for variety. Alternatively try mixing with apple or pear purée– all three of these purées can be frozen to give you a stock of instant meals!

Method
- Peel and cut into even sized pieces then steam or boil until soft - around 5 to 10 minutes.
- Blend the cooked carrot with a little of the cooking water to make a smooth purée.
Not suitable for freezing
