Meet Jason and Trish, your local owners!

"We have recently taken ownership of the store and together with my wife Trish and three kids Chloe (22), Madison(17) and Zavier (14) have packed up after 21 great years in Paraparaumu and made the exciting move to Foxton where we’re looking forward to being a part of the local community and making a difference to your shopping experience.

Beginning my supermarket career as a Trolley Wrangler at Pak’nSave New Plymouth in 1987, and continuing to work through each department I’ve learnt a thing or two about customers over the last 28 years and I love it! I even met my wife in the supermarket.

Being involved in the community is extremely important to me and I’ve played many sports at a senior level as well as coaching and managing sports from Soccer, Rugby, Basketball and Netball. I’ll partake in nearly everything offered and look forward to doing the same in Foxton (if you’ll have me!). I am currently a trustee on the life education trust and believe if we help the youngest members of our community to be better people it will not only benefit them but the whole community.

I’d like to thank the whole team at New World Foxton for being so patient and helpful since we have been here. They have been amazing and I look forward to helping them grow and develop their individual potential as well as the stores. The people of Foxton have been very welcoming too - I have met some great characters in the store already and can’t wait to meet many more."
