
Pizza night with McCain

‘Fakeaways’ night has never been better thanks to McCain Rustica Sourdough Pizza! Paired with a crisp rocket, pear and blue cheese salad for mains, a crisp cordial fizz to quench your thirst and ice cream finished with melted chocolate and edible flowers for dessert. The best part? Everything is ready to enjoy in 30 minutes!
Ingredients
1 McCain Rustica Sourdough Pizza
Salad
1 bag (120g) fresh rocket
1 pear, thinly sliced
50g blue cheese (optional)
3 Tbsp walnut pieces, toasted
Balsamic vinegar glaze
Drink
Cordial of your choice
Sparkling or soda water
Sliced citrus fruit
Dessert
Premium ice cream of your choice
Melted chocolate, to drizzle
Freeze dried fruit
Method
Preheat your oven to 190°C fan bake. Remove the film from your McCain Rustica Sourdough Pizza, then place the frozen pizza directly onto the middle rack of your oven.
Bake for 12 minutes, rotating halfway through cooking, or until the topping is baked to your liking.
Meanwhile assemble the salad by arranging the rocket and pear on a platter or in a bowl. Sprinkle over the walnuts, then crumble the blue cheese over the top if desired. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar glaze, and set aside.
Prepare the drinks by combining cordial and soda water to taste, then garnish with fresh citrus.
Slice the McCain Rustica Sourdough Pizza into 8 pieces, then serve alongside the salad and drinks. For dessert, enjoy ice cream drizzled with melted chocolate and garnished with freeze dried fruit!
