Chicken tikka masala pasta
This fragrant chicken tikka masala pasta is the fusion meal that will spice up your dinner time. Simply sauté the onion, garlic and chicken and leave the rest to simmer while the wonderful aromas fill your home. - 500g Value spiral pasta
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 400g boneless chicken, diced
- 1 jar (510g) Pams tikka masala simmer sauce
- 2 cups Pams whole baby green beans
- 1 lemon
- ¾ cup Pams Colby cheese, grated
Method
- Bring a large pan to medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Sauté the onion and garlic for a few minutes or until tender. Add the chicken and cook for 3-5 minutes or until it starts to brown.
- Meanwhile cook the spiral pasta as per the pack instructions.
- Add Pams tikka masala simmer sauce and green beans to the chicken and leave to simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the beans are tender.
- Stir through the juice of half of the lemon and cut the remaining half into wedges to serve. Toss the drained pasta through the sauce and season with salt and pepper if desired.
- Spoon into bowls and top with grated cheese and lemon wedges.
Top tip: Coriander makes a great match for this fusion pasta meal. Sprinkle your finished meal with fresh coriander leaves for a pop of freshness.
